Abstract：Against the backdropof the rapid developmentof media convergence，ideologicalsecurityand ideological and political work in colleges and universities are facing new opportunities and chalenges.This paper analyzes the current situationof ideological securityandtheefectivenessof ideologicalandpolitical work incollgesand universities，and summarizes the existing problems in the situationof ideological securityand ideologicaland political work incollges and universities in terms of the impact of multiple ideological trends and working methods.Based on this，through standardized approaches such as strengthening the leading role of mainstream media，building an integrated education platform，improving the construction ofthe teaching staff，andoptimizing the assessmentand evaluation mechanism，the efficiencyofideologicaland political workcanbeenhaned，theideologicalsecuritylineof colleges anduniversitiescanbeonsolidated，andcolegesanduniversitiescancultivate high-qualitytalents withallround development.
