Analysis of the Problems and Countermeasures Faced by China's Mandatory Verification System for Measuring Instruments

Abstract:Thecurrent mandatory verification system for measuring instruments in China was formed in the 1980s, which is a product of the planned economy system. With the establishment of the socialist market economy system, thereis a significant deviation between the current mandatory verification system for measuring instruments and the actual work,resulting in a shortage of verification resources and diffculties in the implementation of mandatory verification.Therefore,based onanobjective analysis of the current situationand problems ofChina’s system,this article draws onthe beneficial practices of typical Europeanand Americancountries such as Germany and the United States to propose countermeasures and suggestions for the reform of mandatory verification,aiming to promote the consistency between legal metrology management and the requirements of the socialist market economy system,and provide necessary exploration foroptimizinglegal metrologymanagement.
