Abstract:Inacordance withthedetectionstandardofGB/T17657-2O22,TestmethodsforEvaluating theproperties wood-based panels and surface decorated wood-based panels,for formaldehyde emisson measurement by the 1m3 (20 climate chamber method,a comparative experimental design was conducted.Scheme one follows the 1m3 climate chamber method for the 4.60 formaldehyde emission measurement according to GB/T17657-2022; Scheme two refers to the 1m3 climate chamber method for the 4.60 formaldehyde emisson according to GB/T17657-2022,but does not conductthe equilibrium treatment.The results of the formaldehyde emision from medium density fiberboard by the scheme one and scheme two were compared: ① The formaldehyde emission from test specimens with equilibrium treatment was lower than that without equilibrium treatment; ② The formaldehyde emission 1m3 climate chamber method)without equilibrium treatment canbe used for internal control of enterprises.The testcan be conducted for four days,during whichthe formaldehydeemission basically reachesa stable state,and the measured valuecan be used as the testresult,providing areference.Thiscanofer reference for the internal qualitycontrol of wood-based panel producers and furniture manufacturers.
