Abstract： This article provides a detailed comparison and analysis of the normative references，terminology， definitions，and requirements between the new standard YY/T1306—2024，Steam therapyapparatus，and the old standard YY/T 1306—2016，Steam therapy apparatus.By comparing the diferences between the new and old standards and providing technical interpretations of the newlyadded requirements，ithelpsrelevant medical device manufacturers and inspection and testing institutions have a clearer understanding ofthe new standard YY/T1306- 2024 and implement it correctly.
