Study on the Environmental Impact of BOG Ventilation at LNG Refueling Stations in Northwest China

Abstract:Against the background of global energy low-carbon transformation and China's“dualcarbon”strategy, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)refueling stationsare developingrapidly.However,improperdisposalofBoil-OffGas (BOG) generated from low-temperature storage can easilylead to energy waste,increased costs,andnegativeenvironmental impacts.Thisarticleanalyzes thecausesofBOGgeneration inLNGrefueling stations,elaboratesonthecharacteristicsof BOG generationintypicalprocess flows,andanalyzesthecurrentstatusandenvironmentalbenefitsofBOGreleasecontrol technology.ItproposesanenvironmentallfriendlyBOGreleasecontrolstrategy,providingtheoreticalsupportandpractical reference for the green and sustainable operation of LNG refueling stations.
