Difficulties and Optimization Strategies in the Management of Medical Waste Collection and Transportation in Small Medical Institutions —Taking Minhang District in Shanghai City as an Example

Abstract：WiththeissuanceofthePilotWorkPlanfortheConstructionof‘Zero-WasteCity”，pilotworkfortheconstruction of“Zero-WasteCity”is graduallybeing promotedacross thecountry.Thecolectionand managementof medical waste in smallmedicalinstitutions（referredtoassmallmedical waste）hasalwaysbeenaweak linkinthestandardizedmanagement of medicalwaste，andhasalsobecomeamajordificultyintheconstructionof“Zero-Waste City".Taking Minhangdistrict， Shanghaicityasanexample，basedonpoliciesand managementstatus，themanagement dificultiesandoptimization strategiesofsmallmedicalwastecollctionandtransportationareanalyed，thusprovidingsolutionsforthedificultiesfaced bysmall medical astecollectionandtransportation.Overall，itisnecessary tolarifymanagementresponsibilitiesand establishacollaborativemanagementmechanism;clarifythemainresponsibilityandimprovetheindustrylevel;strengthen theconstructionof thecollctionand transportationsystem，and promotethereformof system informatization; manage special areas effectively and explore new models for medical industry clusters.
