Characteristics Analysis of Soil and Groundwater Pollution Investigation in Tailings Pond Area

Abstract：With the expansionof thescaleof mineralresourcedevelopmentandutilization，asakeysupporting facility formineral processng technology，tailings ponds havelong been usedtostore tailings heavy metalssuchaslead，zinc， arsenic，cadmium，mercuryetc.，andtheriskofsoilandgroundwaterpolltionhasbecomeacoreconcernforcological environment supervision.Basedonthis，thecorecharacteristicsofsoilandgroundwaterpolutioninthe tailings pondarea aresystematicallyanalyzed，andthepollutionspecificityofthesurveybjectsndthetechnicalpertinenceofthesurveyplan arediscued，finallyuggestionsfotetreatmentofsoilndgroundwaterpoltionintetailingsodareareprooed， providing theoretical and practical references for similar tailings pond polution investigation work.
