Study on the Leaching Mechanism of Calcium Ions and the Regulation of Process Parameters in Fly Ash Slurry

Abstract: The application of wet mineralization technology for CO2 capture using fly ash is limited by the low leaching fficiencyofcalciumions.Single-factorexperimentswereconducted toanalyzetheefectsofnaturalleachingtime,liquidto-solidratio,andstirringintensityonthecalciumionleaching behaviorofhigh-calciumflyash.Theresultsshowthatthe natural leaching process can be divided into three stages: 10~60 min is the rapid release stage,with a calcium ion mass concentration increase of 90.9% 60~180 min is the diffusion-controlled stage,with the increase decreasing to 13.1% , after 180 min,it enters a quasi-equilibrium state.When the liquid-to-solid ratio is 5:1 ,the total calcium ion leaching amount reachesits peak (1O 215 mg).When the stirring intensity is 700r/min ,the calcium ion mass concentration peaks (1894mg/L).Thehigh-alkalineenvironment improves leaching efficiencybydepolymerizing thesilica-alumina network and inhibiting calcium carbonate precipitation, providing theoretical support for process optimization.
