The Effect of Psychological Intervention Based on Empowerment Concept on Postoperative SleepQuality in PatientsUndergoing Pituitary Tumor Resection

AbstractObjective：Toexploretheefectof psychological interventionbasedontheempowermentconceptonpostoperative sleepqualityinpatientsundergoingpituitarytumorresection.Methods：Atotalof8OpatientswhounderwentpituitarytumoresectionattheDepartmentofNeurosurgery，TheFirstAfiliatedHospitalofBengbuMedicalUniversityfromJanuary2O2to June 2023 were selectedandrandomlydividedintoacontrol groupandanobservation groupusingarandom numbertable method，with 40 patients ineachgroup.Thecontrolgroupreceivedroutine nursingcare，whiletheobservation groupreceivedadditional psychological interventionbasedontheempowermentconcept.ThePitsburgh SleepQualityIndex（PSQI）wasused toasssslepqualitybeforeandafterinterventionSlepparameters，includingsleeplatecy（SL），totalsleeptime（TT），sleepeficiency（SE），nd rapid eye movement（REM）slepratioweremonitoredusing polysomnography.Results：After intervention，PSQIscoresinboth groups decreased，with the observation group showing significantly lower scores than the control group（ P<0.05 ）. SL in both groups decreased，withtheobservation groupshowingasignificantlowerSLthanthecontrolgroup.TST，SEandREMsignificantly increasedinbothgroups，with theobservationgroupdemonstrating significantlyhigher valuesthanthecontrol group（all P< 0.05）.Conclusion：Psychological intervention basedontheempowermentconceptcan efectivelyimprovepostoperative slep quality in patients undergoing pituitary tumor resection，demonstrating value for clinical application.
