Effect of Auricular Acupressure Combined with Acupoint Application on Sleep Quality inPostoperative Patientswith Damp-heat Type Mixed Hemorrhoids

AbstractObjective：Toanalyze theefectof auricularacupressurecombined withacupointapplicationonimproving postoperativeoutcomes inpatientswithdamp-heattypemixed hemorrhoids.Methods：Atotalof12Opatientswithdamp-heattypemixed hemorhoidstreatedatFujian Medical UniversityUnionHospitalfromOctober2O22 toMayO24wereenroledandrandomlyassigned to a control group（ n=60 ） and an observation group（ n=60 ）. The control group received routine nursing care，while the observationgroupreceivedaditionalacupointapplicationcombinedwithuricularacupressure.Sleepquaity，ainlevelanddefecationfunctionwerecomparedbetweenthetwogroups.Results：Beforetheintervention，therewerenostatisticallsignificant differences in defecation function，pain level，or sleep quality scores between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）.After the intervention，the observation groupshowed significantlylower scores fordefecationdysfunction，pain，and poorsleepqualitycompared with hecontrol group（ all P<0.05 ）. Conclusion：Auricular acupressure combined with acupoint application can efectively improve pain， defecation function，and sleepqualityinpostoperative patients withdamp-heattypemixedhemorhoids.Thiscombined herapyis worthy of wider clinical application.
