Effects of Doula-asisted Childbirth on Labor Pain and Sleep Quality among Women Undergoing Natural Delivery

AbstractObjective:Toivestigateheeectsofoula-assisteddeliveryonlaborprogressionainintensityandotparm sleepqualityamong womenundergoingnaturalchildbirth.Methods:Atotalof110parturientswhounderwentnaturalchildbirthin theDepartmentofObstetrics,TheFirstAfiliatedHospitalofBengbuMedical Collge,from January2O24toJanuary2025were enroled.Accordingtodiferentnursing methods,teyweredividedintoacontrolgroupandanobservationgroup,ith55casesin eachgroup.Thecontrol groupreceivedroutinemidwiferycare，whiletheobservationgroupreceived doula-asisteddeliverycare in addition toroutinecareThedurationoflbor,ainscoresatdiferentstagesofcervicaldilation(visualanaloguescale,VS）,nd sleep qualityscoresonthethirddaypostpartum（Pitsburgh SleepQuality Index,PSQI）werecomparedbetweenthetwo groups.Results:Comparedwiththecontrol group,theobservationgrouphadasignificantlyshorterdurationof labor,andthe difference was statistically significant( P
