Effect of Binaural Beat Training Combined with Exercise Therapy on Post-stroke Insomnia

AbstractObjective：Toinvestigate theinterventionefectof binauralbeattraining（BBT）combined withexercisetherapy inpatientswithpost-strokeinsomnia（PSI）.Methods：Atotalof78PSIpatientsadmitedtotheDepartmentofRehabilitationMedicine in Jiangning HospitalofNanjingfromJanuary2O23to January2O25wereselectedandrandomlydividedintoanobservationgroup andacontrolgroup，with39 cases ineach group.Thecontrol groupreceived exercise therapyalone，whiletheobservationgroup received exercise therapycombined withBBT.Changes insleepquality，sleepstructure，andqualityoflifewerecomparedbetween thetwo groupsbeforeandaftera4-week interventionResults：Afterthe intervention，thePitsburgh SleepQuality Index（PSQI） total scoreanddimensionscores，numberof awakenings，andrapideye movement（REM）latencyintheobservation group were significantlylowerthanthoseinthecontrolgroup，hiletheproportionofN3sleepstage，sleepeficiency，andStroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale（SS-QoL） scores were significantly higher（ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： Binaural beat training combined with exercisethrapycaneffectivelyimprovesleepqualityoptimizesleepstructureandenhancequalityof lifeinpatientswithpoststroke insomnia.
