Observation on the Clinical Eficacy of Auricular Acupuncture Combined with Herbal Acupoint Application in Patients with Postoperative Insomnia after Pulmonary Nodule Surgery

AbstractObjective：Toexplore theclinical eficacyof auricularacupuncturecombinedwith herbalacupointapplication inpatientswith postoperativeinsomniaafterpulmonarynodulesurgery.Methods：Atotalof5Opatientswithpostoperativeinsoiaafterpulmonarynodulesurgerywhowere treatedintheDepartmentofSurgeryof Zhangzhou Hospitalof TraditionalChineseMedicinefromFebruary2O24 to August2O25 wereselectedasstudyparticipants.Acording totherandomnumber table method，the patients weredivided intoacontrolgroupandanobservationgroup，with25casesineach.Thecontrol groupreceivedroutine Western medical treatment，basic nursigcareand herbalacupoint application，whiletheobservation groupreceivedauricularacupuncturecombined with herbalacupoint applicationonthe basisof thecontrol group.Thetreatmentlasted forfour weeks.The Pitsburgh Slep Quality Index（PSQI）wasused tocompare sleepqualitybeforeandafterintervention between the two groups.The traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）syndrome score scale was used to evaluate the main symptom diferences，and the incidenceof adversereactions wasalsocompared.Results：After intervention，thePSQIscoresandTCMsyndrome scoresinthe observationgroup were significantlylower thanthose inthecontrol group，andtheincidenceof adversereactionsintheobservation group was also lower. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant（ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： Auricular acupuncture combined with herbalacupoint applicationshowssignificant eficacyinimproving sleepqualityand TCMsyndrome symptoms inpatients withpostoperativeinsomniaafterpulmonaryodulesurgery.Thetherapyissafe，efective，andsuitablefor wider clinical application.
