The Influence of Continuity of Care on Quality of Life and Sleep Quality in Lymphoma Patients Undergoing Chemotherapy

AbstractObjective：Toexploretheclinical applicationvalueofcontinuityofcare in lymphomachemotherapypatients，evaluate itsfectsonimproving patients’qualityof lifeandsleepstatus，andprovidea basisforclinicalnursing plan formulation.Methods：Atotalof90hospitalizedlymphomapatientstreatedintheHematologyDepartmentof theFirstAfiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical Universityfrom December2023 to June2O25 wereselectedandrandomlydivided intoacontrol group andan observation group，with 45cases ineach group.Thecontrol groupreceived routine nursing care，whiletheobservation groupreceived continuityofcare interventions in adition toroutinecare.ThePitsburgh Sleep Quality Index（PSQI）was used to comparechanges insleepqualitybeforeandfterinterventionbetweenthetwogroups，ndtheFunctionalAssessmentofChronic Illness Terapy（FACT）wasemployedtoevaluatepatients’qualityoflifeinphysical，functional，social，andeotioal dimensios.Results：Afterintervention，theobservationgroupscoredsignificantlyhigherthanthecontrolgroupinallFACTdimensions，ingial，ial，ialdilesiisialliats groups（ P<0.05 ）.Additionally，all PSQI indicatorswere significantly lower in the observationgroup compared to the control group，with statistically significant differences（all P<0.05 ）. Conclusion：Integrating continuity of care into the entire process of lymphomachemotherapycanefectivelyimprovepatients’overallqualityoflifeand sleepstatus，layingasolidfoundationforenhancing their overall treatment outcomes and demonstrating good clinical promotion prospects.
