AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatetheefect ofcombining mod stabilizers withcognitivebehavioraltherapy（CBT）in patients experiencingdepresiveepisodesofbipolardisorder（BD）.Methods：Atotalof110patientswithbipolardisorderanddepresion admitted totheDepartmentofPsychiatryofQuanzhouThirdHospital fromJanuaryO24toFebruary2O25were selectedas theresearchsubjects.Theyweredivided intoacontrolgroupandanobservationgroupusingarandomnumbertablemethod，with55patients neach group.Thecontrol groupreceivedmod stabilizer treatmentandroutine intervention，whilethebservationgroupreceivedcombinedcognitive-behavioraltherapyinaditiontothecontrolgroup'streatment.TheWechslerAdultInteligenceScale （WAIS-RC）wasusedtoassesscognitivefunctioninboth groupsofpatientsbeforeandafterintervention.The HamiltonDepression Rating Scale（HAMD）wasusedtocompare the changes indepressive symptoms between thetwo groups of patients before andafterintervention.ThePitsburgh SleepQualityIndex（PSQI）wasusedtocomparethediferencesinsleepqualitybetweenthe two groups.Results：Afterintervention，theWAIS-RCscoreoftheoservationgroup wassignificantlyhigher thanthatof thecontrol group，whilethe HAMDscoreandPSQIscoreoftheobservationgroupweresignificantlylowerthan thoseof thecontrol group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant（ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： Combining mood stabilizers withcognitivebehavioraltherapyinpatientsexperiencingdepresiveepisodesof bipolardisorderhelpsenhancecognitive function，alleviatedpresivesymptoms，andimprovespqualityTisapproach isworthyofclincalpromotionandplication.
