AbstractObjective:ToinvestigatethesleepstatusofinfantsatOto36months inChangdeCity,HunanProvinceandthenfluencing factors,thusprovidingscientificreferencesforpromotingthesleephealthininfants.Methods:FromMaytoDecember 2022,5 O27healthychildrenagedOto36months receiving physical examinations atthe ChildHealth Clinicfrom eightcounties, citiesanddistrictsin ChangdeCityandfourcommunityhealthcarecenters inWuling DistrictofChangdeCitywereselectedOnsitesurveys ofthe maincaregivers wereconducted using the Basic Information Questionnairefor Infants and Young Children with CaregiversandtheBriefInfantSleepQuestionnaire,tusinvestigatingthesleepstatusof infantsandinfluencingfactors.Results: A total of 5 O27 questionnaires were collected,including 4 894 valid ones.Among them,2 498( 51.04% )were boys and 2 396 ( 48.96% )were girls. A total of 2 2.478(50.63% )infants had sleeping disorders. Difficulty in falling asleep( 36.19% )was the dominant cause,followed by night waking( 30.69% )and sleep rhythm disorders( 6.76% ). Univariate analysis revealed that age in months,parityfrquecyofdilyutdoactivityleeposition,sleepenviomnt,aregiver'spe,ndfmilyture were influencing factors for the sleep status in infants( P<0.05 ). Conclusion: Difficulty in falling asleep,night waking,and sleep rhythmdisordersarethe majorcausesof sleeping problemsof infantsatOto36monthsinChangdeCity.Itisrecommendedthat childcare providersshouldstrengthenpopularizationofsleepscienceandguidethecaregiverstoaleviatethediicultyinfallng asleep,and cultivate good sleep habits for infants.
