Abstract：Thispaper explores theexplorationandapplicationof ideo-polical education（IPE）contentofforeign language coursesinuniversityDrawingonthedistinctivefeaturesofforeignlanguageinstructionitfirstidentifiesfivekeydimensionsof IPEcontent：Xi Jinping ThoughtonSocialismwithChineseCharacteristicsforaNewEra，thecoresocialistvalues，China'sfine traditionalcuure，costitutioalandeof-lawducationdprofesioalidealsadethicsducatioSecod，byting multimodalcase-basedresources，thestudyclassfieseighttypesofpathwaysforacessing IPEcontentwithinforeignlanguage courses.Finall，itproposesthatteachersshouldadheretothreeguidingprinciplesindesigning IPEcontent：maintainingthe unityofexplicitndiplicitintegration;fosteringinteractionacrossallevelsbetweenteachersandstudents；andaligingclosely withcurrentafairsandeveryday life，therebyadvancingthe fundamental missionoffostering virtuethrougheducation.
