Abstract：Thisstudyaimstoreformandimprovetheundergraduatementorshipsystematthemajorlevelbasedonthenew requirementsforstudentguidanceinthecontextof majorcategory-basedadmissionandengineringeducationcertificationThis paperfirstdiscusedtherolesofundergraduatementorshipsysteminthetalenttrainingsystem，emphasizingitsimportanceand irreplaceabilityinengineringeducationcertificationBasedonthis，throughaquestionairesureyofenvironmentalegiring studentsatacetainuniversity，thecurentoperationoftheundergraduatetutorsystemwasexamined，andtheexistingproblems weredeeplydiscussd.Furthermore，targetedreformsuggestionsareproposed，includingimprovingtheguidancecontentsystem， optimizingimplementationstrategies，amongotheraspects.Theserecommendationsaimtofullytapthepotentialofthe undergraduatementorshipsystem，enhancetalentcultivationqualityandprovidepracticalguidanceandtheoreticalsupportfor professional development under the background of engineering education program accreditation.
