Abstract：Thereformoftheevaluationmechanismforfacultydevelopmentinhighereducationinstitutionsiscrucialfor enhancingteachers’professionalcapabilitiesandimprovingthequalityofhighereducation.Withthecontinuousadvancementof highereducation，theevaluationmechanismforfacultydevelopmenthasshiftedfromasinglequantiativecrieriontoamore diversifiedandcomprehensiveevaluationsystem.However，severalissesremaininthecurrntevaluationmechanism，suchas narrowevaluationstandards，anoveremphasisonresearchoutcomes，neglectof teachingquality，andunreasonableappointment cycles.Thispaperanalyzestheevolvingtrendsoffacultydevelopmentevaluationmechanismsindomesticandintematioalhigher educationistutions，examinesexistinghallnges，andproposespathwaysforimprovement.Thegoalistoestablishaientific open，andefectiveevaluationsystemalignedwith institutionaldevelopment，therebyenhancingfacultymotivationandcreativity and providing strong talent support for improving the quality of education and teaching.
