Abstract：Thedevelopmentofurbanandruralplaning educationhaschangedinmanyaspects，suchassubject connotation，developmenttheory，andteachingcontent.Asanesentialpartofurbanandruralplannng，communityplaning originatesfromreflectingtheurbandevelopmentmodelandtheevolutionof neds.However，therearemanyproblems inthe courseteachingofcommunityplanninginurbanandruralplanningeducation，suchastheneedformoreuniversalitiestoopen thiscourseandpracticallinkswiththelocalcommunities.Tomeetthenewchalengesanddemandsofhigh-qualityurbanand ruraldevelopment，Chineseuniversitiesshouldfocusonintegratingcommunitypractice，introducingmodernplanningtechniques andmethods，andtrainingstudents‘abilitytoanalyzeandsolveproblemscomprehensively.Tothisend，thispapertakesthe practiceandexplorationofcomunityplamingcoursesatTsinghuaUniversityTongi UniversityandSunYatsenUniversityas examples，whichanalyzesandsummarizestheirtrainingexperieneinprofessonalabiltyprofessonalqualityandoetical knowledge.Inthefuture，thecombinationoftheoryandpracticeshouldbefurtherstrengthened，andthedepintegrationofthe clasroomandcommunityshouldbeencouragedtomettheneedsof diversecommunitydevelopmentinthecontextof social govemance.Thisstudyhasimportantreferencesignificancefortrainingmoreplannngprofesionalswithcomprehensiveabilityfor the sustainable development of urban and rural communities in China.
