Abstract:Thedevelopmentofurbanandruralplaning educationhaschangedinmanyaspects,suchassubject connotation,developmenttheory,andteachingcontent.Asanesentialpartofurbanandruralplannng,communityplaning originatesfromreflectingtheurbandevelopmentmodelandtheevolutionof neds.However,therearemanyproblems inthe courseteachingofcommunityplanninginurbanandruralplanningeducation,suchastheneedformoreuniversalitiestoopen thiscourseandpracticallinkswiththelocalcommunities.Tomeetthenewchalengesanddemandsofhigh-qualityurbanand ruraldevelopment,Chineseuniversitiesshouldfocusonintegratingcommunitypractice,introducingmodernplanningtechniques andmethods,andtrainingstudents‘abilitytoanalyzeandsolveproblemscomprehensively.Tothisend,thispapertakesthe practiceandexplorationofcomunityplamingcoursesatTsinghuaUniversityTongi UniversityandSunYatsenUniversityas examples,whichanalyzesandsummarizestheirtrainingexperieneinprofessonalabiltyprofessonalqualityandoetical knowledge.Inthefuture,thecombinationoftheoryandpracticeshouldbefurtherstrengthened,andthedepintegrationofthe clasroomandcommunityshouldbeencouragedtomettheneedsof diversecommunitydevelopmentinthecontextof social govemance.Thisstudyhasimportantreferencesignificancefortrainingmoreplannngprofesionalswithcomprehensiveabilityfor the sustainable development of urban and rural communities in China.
