Abstract：ThereformoftheteachingmodeofBasicChemistryiscrucialforimprovingthescientificliteracyandcultivating theinovationandpracticalabilityofengineeringcollgestudents.Thispaperfocusesonlocalengineringinstitutionsandfully elaboratesonthereformefortsandexplorationsintheteachingmodeof BasicChemistryspecifically，suchasconstructinga customized"order-type”coursesystemofBasicChemistry，buildingahigh-qualityteachingteamandoptimizingresource alocation，developinganintegratedsystemthatcombinesapractice-innovationplatformwithcreativecompetitions.Thanksto thesejointeforts，thesupportingeffctofBasicChemistryonrelatedengineeringmajorshasbeengreatlyenhanced.Aseriesof realachievementshavebeenobtainedtopromotethesteadyimprovementofthequalityofundergraduateeducationandteaching， which have laid a solid foundation for training engineering professionals in local universities.
