Research on the influence of slope downward thrust on the distribution law of earth pressure in slope bridge pile foundations

Abstract:To study the influence law of the downward thrust of the slope on the pile foundation of the slope bridge, this paper relies on a certain bridge project in the mountainous area of southwest China. Through indoor model tests, the influence of the downward thrust of the slope on the pile foundation of the bridge is systematically studied. The interaction mechanism between the bridge foundation and the anti-slide pile is revealed from the perspectives of earth pressure,bending moment and deformation. The results of data simulation experiments show that:(1)The lower thrust of the slope is mainly borne by the leftmost bridge pile foundation. When the load is transmitted to the rightmost side,the soil pressure of the pile foundation will produce a more obvious' attenuation effect'.(2)The earth pressure of bridge pile foundation and anti-slide pile is almost 0 kPa near the sliding surface, and the bending moment has a maximum value near the sliding surface.(3)The maximum horizontal displacement occurs at the top of the bridge pile foundation,and the horizontal displacement of the anti-slide pile is small.(4)The effect of an⁃ ti-slide pile on improving the stress and deformation of bridge pile foundation is limited. The research results can provide scientific basis and technical support for the design and construction of slope bridge engineering.
