A horizontal well flow control design for automatically adjusting the liquid production profile

Abstract:The water content of horizontal wells increases rapidly during the development process, which seriously affects the efficiency of oilfield development. In this paper, the relationship between the fluid characteristics of the horizontal wellbore and the influence of the formation fluid production profile is analyzed,and a flow control device installed in the wellbore sieve tube‘EACV + POV’valve group is exploratory introduced to realize the local auto⁃ matic closing radial confluence function in the production process. The verification of the automatic adjustment ef⁃ fect shows that the technology can realize the structural adjustment of the liquid production profile in the wellbore of the horizontal well,inhibit the continuous development of the water cone and the high-speed water flow channel;to achieve the development effect of“waterproof in the future”;reduce the water content of horizontal wells and im⁃ prove the comprehensive recovery rate of horizontal well reservoir development.

水平井因其井眼轨迹可以平行穿梭于油层,最大限度暴露油层产液剖面的开发优势;投产初期的产量高、开采效果好,所以水平钻控流技术被广泛应用于油藏开发开采中。(剩余5406字)
