Antibacterial performance modification of ventilator silicone catheter and verification of clinical nursing application effect

Abstract:In order to improve the performance and antibacterial ability of ventilator catheter materials,a hydrophil⁃ ic and antibacterial catheter material was proposed,and the performance and clinical application effect of the cathe⁃ ter material were explored. The results showed that when the ratio of TEOS/KH560/MTES/Ag-TiO2 was 15/6/1/1 , the stability,hardness and adhesion were the best,and the light transmittance of the catheter was the lowest. When the concentration of TEOS/KH560/MTES/Ag-TiO2 was 1% ,all bacteria could be eliminated. The clinical applica⁃ tion shows that the antibacterial performance of the modified catheter using this test has a low average number of colonies and a significant effect.
