Optimization test and road performance analysis of recycled brick-concrete aggregate ratio

Abstract:Through the in-depth analysis of the performance characteristics of brick-concrete recycled aggregates, the differences between traditional natural aggregates and waste concrete recycled aggregates are revealed,and their performance indicators and their changing rules are clarified. Focusing on the optimal design of the mix ratio of cement stabilized brick-concrete recycled aggregate,reasonably controlling the amount of cement,water-cement ratio and adding an appropriate amount of water reducing agent,combined with the tests of compressive strength, splitting strength and flexural strength of concrete,the mechanical properties of brick-concrete recycled aggregate cement stabilized mixture can be effectively improved to reach the same level as that of natural aggregate mixture, which provides scientific guidance for practical engineering application. The results show that the reasonable design of the mix ratio of brick-concrete recycled aggregate concrete can not only meet the basic performance requirements of road engineering,but also have certain environmental and economic benefits,which provides a new idea for re⁃ source recycling and sustainable transportation infrastructure construction.
