A Study on the Application Effect of an Oral Virtual Teaching Platform in the Instruction of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

AbstractObjective:Toexploretheapplicationeffectoforalvirtualteachingplatforintheteachingoforalandmaxilofacial surgerycoursesforfive-yearundergraduatestudentsindentistry.Method:2Oundergraduatestudentsmajoringinstomatology fromtheArmyMedicalUniversityin2O19-202Owereselectedastheresearchsubjects.Anexperimental groupandacontrol groupweresetup.Theexperimental groupwastaughtusingavirtualoralteachingplatform,whilethecontrol groupwas taught usingtraditional teachngmethods.Thetheoretical examandpracticaloperationscoresof thetwogroupswerecomparedand aquestionnairesurveywasconductedtoinvestigatetheirlearingatitudesandinterests.Result:Throughcomparativeanalysis, itwasfoundthatthetheoreticalexamandpracticaloperationscoresoftheexperimentalgroupstudentsweresignifcantlybetter than those of the control group (P<0.05) ,and they showed a more positive learning attitude and interest.Conclusion:The oral virtualteachingplatformefectivelyenhancesstudents'knowledgemasteryandclinicalpracticeabilitythroughfunctionssuch as3Dvisualoatomostraiomsiejuylatidealitaligbckoidgcial example for the digital transformationoforaland maxillofacial surgery teachingmode.
