Construction of a Clinical Thinking Teaching Model Based on Case-Based Learning

AbstractClinical thinking ability is the core competency for medical students to make disease diagnosis and treatment decisions.Modern medical education is facing the important challenge of how to effectively cultivate students'clinical thinking ability. Case study providesa systematic diagnostic reasoningtraining platform for medical students bysimulating real clinicalsituations,enabling them to transformtheoretical knowledge into practicalabilities and formstandardized clinical decision-making thinking paterns.The article elaborates on the importance of case learning incultivating clinical thinking from dimensions such as diagnostic reasoning,clinical decision-making,and doctor-patient communication.It proposes teaching mode design schemes such asbuilding a hierarchical case library, standardizing reasoning paths,organizing case studies,and improving evaluation mechanisms.Research has shown thatthecase-based clinical thinking teaching modelcan efectively enhance thecomprehensive clinical abilitiesof medical students,cultivate their evidence-based decision-making awareness and critical thinking,and provide new ideas for cultivating high-quality medical talents.
