Abstract Empowering mental health education with digitalization has become one of the important directions of higher education reform.Emerging technologies such asbig data analysis and artificial intelligence algorithms make early detection and precise intervention of mental health problems possible.As a guide for students' growth,the numericaliteracyofcolegecounselorsdirectlydeterminestheaccuracyandtimelinessoftheirmentalhealtheducation work. Atpresent,counselors arefacing problems such as insufficient compatibility between technology application and practical needs,serious "data silos" phenomenon,and breakpoints in the warningandinterventionchain in the process of carrying out mental health education.This study proposes measures such as building a digital literacy cultivation system and creating a multidimensional data fusion analysis platform to achieve the transformation of counselors' mental health education work from passve response to active prevention, promote the development of mental health education work towards precision and specialization,and provide strong guarantes for cultivating new people with physical and mental health in the era.
