Abstract： Thisresearch is basedontheCLIL （ContentandLanguage IntegratedLearning）foreign language teachingcocept and explores the path of integrating the English - version chapters of Xi Jinping： The Governance of China into college English readingandwriting courses.RelyingonNewHorizonCollege EngdishReadingndWriting Course（FourthEdition），the ideologicalandpolicalcontentisscreenedcloselyfolowingtheunitthemes，andtargetedteachingactivitiesaredesigned. Throughclasroompractice，questionnairesurveys，andstudentinterviews，itisfoundthatstudentshavedepenedtheir understandingof Xi Jinping ThoughtonSocialismwith ChineseCharactersticsforaNewEraduringtheirstudies，masteredthe discourseexpresionswithcontemporaryChinesecharacteristics，significantlyimprovedtheirEnglishreading，writing，and translatioabilties，andalsocultivatedasenseofpatriotismandaglobalperspective.Theresearchresultsprovideareference exampleforideologicalandpolialeducationincollegeEnglishclasromsndcontributetoheefectiveimplementationofthe "Three Entries" work in foreign language courses at colleges and universities.
