Abstract: Thisresearch is basedontheCLIL (ContentandLanguage IntegratedLearning)foreign language teachingcocept and explores the path of integrating the English - version chapters of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China into college English readingandwriting courses.RelyingonNewHorizonCollege EngdishReadingndWriting Course(FourthEdition),the ideologicalandpolicalcontentisscreenedcloselyfolowingtheunitthemes,andtargetedteachingactivitiesaredesigned. Throughclasroompractice,questionnairesurveys,andstudentinterviews,itisfoundthatstudentshavedepenedtheir understandingof Xi Jinping ThoughtonSocialismwith ChineseCharactersticsforaNewEraduringtheirstudies,masteredthe discourseexpresionswithcontemporaryChinesecharacteristics,significantlyimprovedtheirEnglishreading,writing,and translatioabilties,andalsocultivatedasenseofpatriotismandaglobalperspective.Theresearchresultsprovideareference exampleforideologicalandpolialeducationincollegeEnglishclasromsndcontributetoheefectiveimplementationofthe "Three Entries" work in foreign language courses at colleges and universities.
