Abstract:Thispaperaims toadvanceinterdisciplinarygeneraleducationinmedical-engineeringfieldstobroadenstudents knowledge,fostercrossdiscipliaryitegrationeanceouseevaluationsystems,andcultivatewel-roundedalentswiedical literacy.Whilegeneraleducationholdsgreatpotentialforpromotingmultidisciplinaryintegration,currentchalengesinthe systematicandscientificdesignofcourses,aswellasinevaluationsystems,requireurgentatentiontopreventcoursesfrom becomingsupefcialandtoachievethegoalofnurturingcomprehensivetalents.Thisstudyfocusesonthedevelopmentof the generaleucationcourse"IntroductiontoCancerBiology",addresingthrekeyaspects:targetaudience,teachingmethods,and evaluatiosystems.Thecouseadoptsaflexibledesigntailoredtostudents'academicbackgrounds,optimizingcontenttoinspire inovationandresearch interest.Adiverse teachingmodelcenteredonstudentscombinesvariousinstructionalmethodswith integratedonlineandofineresources.Furthermore,amulti-dimensionalevaluationsystemisestablishedtoacuratelyasse leamingoutcomesand teachingquality.Byimplementing thesestrategies,thepaperaimstooptimizecoursecontent,innovate teachingmethods,andproposeasystematicframeworkforgeneraleducationdevelopment,providingactionableinsightsfor advancing interdisciplinary general education in engineering-focused universities.
