Abstract:Againstthebackdropofincreasingglobalizationandprecision-orienteddemandsinmedicaleducation,Englishfor SpecificPurposes (ESP)instructionhasbecomeacrucialcomponentincultivatinghigh-qualtyinterdisciplinarytalents.Thisstudy examinesfive-yearundergraduatestudentsmajoringinBiomedicalEngineringatChongqingMedicalUniversityexploringhow theinnovative"UltrasoundTherapeutics"courseclusterservesasaplatformtosystematicallyenhancestudentsprofesionalEnglishcompetenceinthefieldofFocusedUltrasoundSurgery(FUS).Practicehasdemonstratedthatthecoursecluster-basedESP teachingodelsignficantlystimulatesstudentsleaingautonomyandfostersthedeepintegrationofprofessionalknowledgewith Englishlanguageskils,providingareferentialapproachfortrainingtop-notchinovativemedicaltalentsinthenewera.This paperalsoaddressscurentlimitatiosipacticeicludingteepthfthnologicalintegration,facultyexpetideval ation mechanisms,while offering insights into future development directions.
