Abstract：Inthecontextofthedepeningofthenational"DoubleFirst-class"constructionstrategy，localuniversities，asan importantpartofthehighereducationsystem，thcreationof"firstclassdisciplines"isofkeysignificancetoregionaldevelopmentandnationalinovation-drivenstrategy.Thispapertakesalocalcolegesanduniversitiesasaresearchcase，focuseson thepracticaldilemmaoftheconstructionof"fist-classdisciplines"inlocaluniversities，andsystematicallanalysesthecore problemsexistinginlocalcolgesaduniversitiesindisciplineonsructionsuchasisuficientumberofdoctoralprogames， unbalanceddisciplinedevelopment，lackofhigh-levelleadingtalents，weaksupportplatform，lagingemerginginterdisciplinary andimperfect managementmechanismfromthedimensionsofdisciplinelayout，talentteam，scientificresearchplatform，achievementtransformation，andimperfectmanagementmechanism.Thisstudyprovidesanempiricalbasisandtheoreticalreferecefor subsequent exploration of breakthrough paths and deepening the reform of higher education.
