Abstract：Roadplanninganddesignisacharacteristicspecialization forundergraduatestudentsmajoringinroadenginering andforgraduatestudentsinroadplanninganddesign.Therelatedcoursesservenotonlyasthecoreprofessonalcoursesfor theroadengineringmajor，butalsoasesentialspecializedcousesformajorsintranspotationandtraffcengineering.Inresponsetothehugedemandforhigh-levelinovativetalentsinthetransportationindustryinthenewera，targetedsolutioshave been proposedfortheproblemsthathaveemerged inthecurrentteaching processofroadplanninganddesign，suchasthecurriculumsystem'sinadequacyinsuficientdepthinengineeringpractice，weakstudentinovationcapabili，andmootoous teachingforms.Aseriesofinnovativeachievements havebenmadeinthetheoreticalcurrculumsystem，teachingelementssystem，andpracticalteachingsystem.Ithasbeenproventhattheseoutcomescontributetocultivatingroadplanninganddesign professionals who possess both a solid theoretical foundation and strong innovative capabilities.
