Research on the Value and Improvement Strategies of Traditional Ethnic Sports Teaching in Universities Under the Theory of Cultural Response

[Abstract] Inthecontextof globalization，ntegrating China'soutstandingtraditionalethnicsportscultureintoersity physicaleducation teaching is both arequirement ofthe times andan inevitable choice for cultural inheritance.Starting from the connotation of cultural response theory，this paper explores the valueand enhancement path of integrating traditional ethnic sports intouniversity physical education teaching.Thecultural response theory emphasizes that educators should payattention to students'native cultural backgrounds and make proactive responses in teaching design to better stimulate students'learning interest andachieve excelence ineducation.Introducing traditional ethnic sports into university physical education can enrich teaching content， enhance students’ cultural identity，and preserve traditional ethnic sports culture.Thearticleanalyzes the valueoftraditional ethnic sports in higher education，icluding providing development platforms，promoting project refinement and disemination，stimulating cultural vitality，and

fostering ethnic unity.Atthesame time，it is proposed that universities should start with teaching concepts and deepen students'understanding of traditional ethnic sports culture connotations; It systematically explores and innovates traditional ethnic sports resources to promote theircreative transformation; Itenhances faculty'scultural response literacy， including teachingdesign，expression，culturalinsight，andothercapabilities，optimizes theteachingsystemof traditional ethnic sports inuniversities，and supports thesustainable developmentof traditional ethnic sports in higher education.
