Distribution， Characteristics，and Inheritance Pathways of Jinzhong Shehuo Folk Sports

[Abstract] This studyemploys literaturereviewandfield investigationto investigateandanalyzethedistributionand characteristicsofJinzhong Shehuo folk sports，and explores its inheritance pathways.The results indicate that among the 122 folk sports projects identified across 11 counties in the Jinzhong region，only 46.7% participate in Jinzhong Shehuo activities，with some projects on theverge of extinction.Characteristics are analyzed in terms of regional distribution，forms of expression，modes of existence，andperformance timing.Finally，basedon intangiblecultural heritage preservation theories and cultural ecology，inheritance pathways for Jinzhong folk sports are proposed.
