Abstract: Red ballads as a crucial component of red cultural resources,are imbued with rich historical memories and spiritual values, serving as invaluable spiritual wealth to enhance university students' sense of national identity. By presenting historical events, characters,and spiritual styles in artistic and contextualized forms,red ballads can evoke collective memories of specific historical periods among university students, stimulate their patriotic enthusiasm,and thereby forge a firm national identity. Integrating red ballads into the national identity education system for university students not only enriches teaching content and broadens teaching formats but also enhances educational outcomes. In the educational context of the new era, it is necessary to actively construct a systematic curriculum system to consolidate the educational foundation; innovate diversified educational forms to expand educational pathways; strengthen practical and experiential education to promote the integration of knowledge and action; and explore practical strategies for the fusion of red ballads and national identity education among university students,in order to effectively enhance the effectiveness of national identity education among them.
