Abstract： This study focuses on the narrative innovation and communication paths of cultural ideological and political education in the context of new media.Firstly， it defines the core connotation of cultural ideological and political education， expounds on its specific meaning and significant importance under the new media context， thereby laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent research. At the level of narrative innovation， the study proposes that cultural resources need to achieve multi-dimensional breakthroughs： the narrative subject tends to be diversified，breaking the limitation of a single subject; the narrative content emphasizes daily life，enhancing emotional connection with the audience; and the narrative form pursues interactivity， improving audience participation. These innovations further enrich the development core of ideological and political education. In terms of communication paths，three key paths are explored： realizing multi-platform collaborative communication through the integration of online and offline channels，promoting digital precision communication by relying on the integration of experience and interaction，and achieving diversified active communication with the help of cross-border cooperation and expansion. The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the optimization and upgrading of cultural ideological and political work in the new media era，and to help enhance the effectiveness and influence of ideological and political education.
