Abstract: With the continuous emphasis on foreign language education and teaching by the state, the education and teaching of less commonly taught languages have also received increasing attention in both secondary and higher education. However, the professional development of non-English language teachers still faces many problems. This paper investigates and analyzes the current teaching situation and collaborative development awareness of non-English language teachers in Gansu Province, clarifies the current situation and existing problems of their collaborative development,and under the guidance of the concept of "professional learning community", the multi-language teaching alliance activities in Gansu Province,which aim to promote the professional development of non-English language teachers in both secondary and higher education, provide a good reference for their collaborative development.
