Abstract： The culture of traveling the Shu Road， as a regional characteristic culture， is an important component of China's fine traditional culture. Inheriting and promoting the culture of traveling the Sichuan Road is an important form and path for local universities to firmly establish cultural confidence，deepen educational reform，improve the quality of talent cultivation， and serve local development. This article takes the Jianmen Shu Road as an example，and through cross-disciplinary research from a macro perspective using the method of mutual verification between literature and history， it recognizes the value characteristics of the Jianmen Shu Road in connecting the north and south and governing the west， sorts out the management and protection process of the Shu Road in the Qing Dynasty， and deepens the value and significance of the culture of traveling the Shu Road in the Qing Dynasty through mutual verification.By analyzing the main problems and deficiencies in the inheritance of the culture of traveling the Shu Road，it clarifies the paths and measures for local universities to inherit and innovate， gives full play to the cross-disciplinary function and forms a combined force，realizes the application of practical exploration，and promotes the research on the historical regions of the Qing Dynasty and the inheritance and innovation of the culture of traveling the Shu Road.
