Abstract:Thecycle lifeof powerbatteries used in electric vehicles is thecore indicator for measuring the durability of power bateries.The scientific and applicable evaluation criteria arethe basis for ensuring industry technological iteration and product reliability.GB/T31484 is a national standard that specifies the requirements and testing methods forthe cycle lifeofpower bateries used inelectric vehicles.Itspecifies therequirementsandtestingfor thecycle life of power bateries.But with the rapid development of the electric vehicle industry,the original2O15 versionof the standard has problems such as not distinguishing between high-energybatteriesand high-power batteries,and insuficientrigorous descriptions ofsome testitems.In2025,thefrst modification formwasissuedforthe20l5 version of the standard,which made keyrevisions to therelevant content,including distinguishing high-energybateries from high-power batteries,optimizing test item descriptions,and aligning with the latest GB/T31467—2023 and GB/ T31486——2024.This article analyzes the core values of solving the disconnection between standards,improving the accuracy of clasification evaluation,and clarifying the operation process by comparing the technical connotations of the original standard and the modification form.The relevant conclusions can provide support for the product development calibration of battery enterprises,the upgrading of testing institution methods,and the supply chain management of vehicle manufacturers.
