Current Status and Future Prospects of Biodiversity Conservation Standardsin China

Abstract:Withtheintegrationofecological civilizationconstructioninto theoverall layoutofnationaldevelopment, the strategic importanceof biodiversityconservation has significantly increased.Biodiversityconservation standards play a crucial guiding role in biodiversity conservation eforts. Using methods such as iterature analysis,comparative research,and case studies,this paper systematicallyreviewes the development trajectory of China’sbiodiversity standards.It identifies issues such as structural imbalance and outdated content in current standards,limited effectiveness oflocal standards,and insuficientalignment withinternational standards.The paper emphasizes the ned for systematic optimization fromthe perspectives of top-level design,local standards development,and international cooperationto continuously improve biodiversity conservation standards and enhance their adaptabilityandauthority.
