Current Status of Seawater Desalination Standards Revision in China and Countermeasure Suggestions

Abstract：Standards are one of the crucial factors in the technological innovationand industrial developmentof seawater desalination.The revisionof standards is a key way to enhance the applicability of standards and meet the needs ofrapid technological development.This paper analyzes the current status of standards in the seawater desalination feld and the demand fortheirrevision.It also expounds on the necessityof standards revision，summarizes and analyzes the causes of various problems inthe standards revision，suchas the intersection of technical fields， thelow efficiencyand the hard decision of leading units.It alsoputs forward the suggestions such as improving the applicabilityof standards，enhancing the qualityof standards review， increasing coordination eforts，and optimizing the working mechanism，so as to provide references for the standards revision work.
