Preparation and application effect of modified urea-formaldehyde resin material for wood-based panel production

Abstract:In order to reduce the formaldehyde polltion causedbyadhesive in theproduction process of wood-based panels,A modified urea-formaldehyde resin material for wood-based panel production was prepared by modifying pure urea-formaldehyde resin by oxidizing lignin,and diferent oxidized lignin addition amounts were studied.The results showed that when the oxidized ligninadded to theresin material increased,the bondingstrengthand static bending strengthof thematerial increased firstand thendecreased,andtheformaldehydeemissionof wood-based panels decreased. When the addition of oxidized lignin was 2.4% ,the expansion rate of the prepared wood-based panel with 2 h water absorption thickness was only 3.12% ,and the water resistance was better. The formaldehyde emission was 1.21mg/(100g) ,which was reduced by 48.7% ,and the environmental protection was good.The internal binding strength and static bending strength were at the maximum,which wereO.55 and17.63 MPa,respectively.
