Research on the preparation and performance of a new deacidified silicone sealant

Abstract:Theefectsofcrosslinker,catalyst,siliconeoil,107viscosityandvaporphase filleronthepropertiesof silicone adhesive were studied.By adjusting theaddition amount of diferent components,the effects of each component on the consistency of silicone glue curing thickness at low temperature of -12‰ ,consistency at room temperature and consistency after heat storage at were explored. The results showed that with the increase of crosslinker,the curing thickness at -12‰ decreased from1.7 mmto1.5 mm.Withthe increase of catalystaddition,thecuring thicknessunder low temperature conditions showed an increasing trend.The adjustmentofthe viscosity of 107 could increase the consistency from 6.5cm to 8.1 cm without increasing the amount of silicone oil. The specific surface area and moisture content of the vapor phase fller also had an important impact on the curing performance and consistency change of silicone adhesive.
