Preparation and performance study of modified adhesive for the repair of track and field equipment

Abstract:In order to improve the performance of adhesives for the repair of track and field equipment,graphene (Gr)and multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)were used to modify the adhesives,and the shear properties of Gr,MWCNTs andGr MWCNTs were compared and analyzed,andthe fracture morphology was observed.The results showed that the shear strength of graphene-modified,multi-walled carbon nanotube modified and graphene multi-walled carbon nanotube composite modified adhesives atroom temperature was higher than that of unmodified adhesives.As the mass fraction of Gr,MWCNTs and Gr MWCNTs increased from 0,25% to 1,5% ,the shear strength of the modified adhesive at room temperature showed a trend offirst increasingand then decreasing. When themass fraction ofmodifierwas 0.5% ,themaximum value of shear strength was obtained.The shear strength of graphene multi-walled carbon nanotube composite modified adhesive at room temperature was higher than that of graphene modified adhesive aloneand multi-walled carbon nanotube modified adhesive at room temperature under the same modifier mass fraction.
