Impacts of Trazodone Combined with Fluvoxamine on Sleep Quality and Blood Monoamine Neurotransmitters Levels in Patients with Depression

AbstractObjective：Toexplore the impacts of trazodonecombined with fluvoxamineonsleepqualityand blood monoamine neurotransmiterslevelsinpatientswithdepresion.Methods：Seventypatientswithdepressioninthehospitalwereselectedfrom March 2O22 to March 2O24，and were randomly divided into an observation group（ n=35 ，treated with trazodone and fluvoxamine） and a control group（ n=35 ，treated with fluvoxamine）.After 2 months of treatment，the sleep structure，serum indicators，psychological symptomsscores，slepqualityscores，andadverse events werecomparedbetweenthetwo groups.Results：Aftertreatment， both groupsshowed increasesinsleepuration，apideyemovementsleeproportionsleepeficiency，on-REMstagepopr tionandlevelsofoyaeodoleacticcidndeie.rtortsedtose intheobservationgroupthanintecontrolgroup.Aditionall，sleeplatencyon-REMsages1and2proportions，ufwakenings，HamiltonDepresionRatingScale-17scoresandsleepqualityscoreswerealloweraftertreatment，withtheoservation group showing lower values than the control group（ P<0.05 ）. There was no statistical significance in the total incidence rate of adverse events between groups（ P>0.05 ）. Conclusion： Trazodone combined with fluvoxamine can improve the sleep structure of patients withdepresion，ndmayfurtherenancetheantidepressantefetsbyregulatingthelevelsofbloodmonoaminenuro transmitters. This therapy has good safety.
