Effects of Comprehensive Intervention on Sleep Quality and Lung Function in Children with Acute Pneumonia

AbstractObjective：Toobserve theefectsofcomprehensiveinterventiononsleepqualityinchildren with acute pneumonia.Methods：Atotalof8OchildrenwithacutepneumoniaadmitedtotheDepartmentofPediatricsat Qilu Hospitalof Shandong University fromJanuary2023 to December 2O23wereselectedasthe studysubjects.Theywererandomlydivided intoa controlgroupandanobservationgroupusingarandomnumbertablemethod，with4Ocasesineach group.Thecontrolgroupreceivedroutinenursing interventionwhiletheoservationgroupreceivedcomprehensivenursing intervention.ThePitsburghSleep Quality Idex（PSQI）wasused tocomparethechanges in sleepqualitybefore and after intervention.The disappearance timeof clinicalsymptomsandsigns，changes inlungfunctionindicators，andincidenceofcomplicationsbetweenthetwogroupsofpatints werecompared.ResultsAfter interventio，thecoughdisapparance time，dyspnea disappearance time，feverreductiontime，and lung wetrales disappearancetimeintheobservationgroup weresignificantlylowerthanthoseinthecontrolgroup.Theforcedexpiratoryvolumeandforcedvitalcapacityinthefirstsecondoftheobservationgroup weresignificantlyhigherthan thoseithe controlgroup.TheSQIscores intheobservationgroup weresignificantlylowerthanthoseinthecontrolgroup，andtheincidence ofcomplications intheobservation group wassignificantlylower thanthatinthecontrol group.The diferences betweenthetwo groups were statistically significant（ P<0.05） . Conclusion： Comprehensive intervention can help improve sleep quality and lung functioninchildrenwithautepneumonia，allviateclinicalsymptomsarlyandrducetheoccurrenceofomplications.Itisor thy of clinical promotion and application.
