Impacts of Different Degrees of Obstructive Sleep Apnea on Cardiac Function in Patients with Non-obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

AbstractObjective：Tocompare theechocardiographicresultsof non-obstructivehypertrophiccardiomyopathypatients withdifferentdegreesofobstructivesleepapnea（OSA）.Methods：Atotalof54patientsdiagnosed withnon-obstructivehypertrophiccardiomyopathywithOSA inour hospital from June 2022 to June 2O24 were included.According to thesleepapnea hypopnea index （AHI），the patients were divided into mild OSA group（ AHI⩾15times/h，n=17⟩ ）and moderate to severe OSA group（AHI ⩾ 15 times/h， n=37 ）.The results of cardiac ultrasound were collected.Results：There were no significant diferences in left ventricularend-iastolicametr，entriularseptalhickess，eftentriclarposterrwallickn，leftventricularjectonfraction， leftventriculard-sytolicdameter，leftvtricularoutflotractdameer，leftventrclarutowtactpessredieeal orificeflowvelocityatearlydiastolicstageandmitralorificeflowvelocityatlatediastolicstagebetween thetwogroups（ P> 0.05）.The ascending aorta diameterandleft atrial diameter inmoderateandsevere OSA group were higher thanthose n mild OSA group （ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion： Non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients with moderate to severe OSA have higherdiameters of ascending aorta andleft atrial diametersthan those with mild OSA.Patientswith severeOSAmay have more pronounced cardiac remodeling.
