Abstract：Water temple murals in Guangsheng Templearetheonlyisolated exampleofmurals thatdonotcontain Buddhism andTaoism inancient templearchitecture in China.This paper takes the water temple muralsof Guangsheng Temple as the research object，analyzesthecontent，colorappicationandexpressonof the water temple muralsofGuangsheng Temple，aims to explorethecolorapplicationcharacteristicsofthe watertemple muralsofGuangshengTmple，aswellastheperfectionofthe colorlanguageforitsnarativestructure，andprovidesanewperspectiveforinterpreting thecolorlanguageand narativelogic oftraditional Chinesemurals.
