Abstract： Color psychology plays acrucial role in animated character design，influencing the audience's perception and emotionalresponsetocharacters，as wellasinexpresingcharacterpersonalityconveyingemotons，andacheving visualfects. Existinganimatedcharacterdesignshaveissesinthecoordinationofcolorwithcharacterpersonalityemotionalchanges，and thevisualbalanceofcolorcombinations.Starting fromcolorpsychologytheory，thispaperanalyzes theapplicationofcolorin existinganimatedcharacterdesignsandtheproblemsthatexist，andoptimizesthecolorstrategies inanimatedcharacterdesign. Theaim is toenhancetheexpresivenessofaimatedcharactersandtheaudience'semotionalidentification，makingcharacter designmoreatractiveadimpactful，and promotingthesuccssofanimatedworksinemotionaltrasmissionandvisalimpact.
